10 year warranty but since it's Costco, might be very returnable if anything goes wrong.

https://www.costco.com/hartmann-g...54299.html

Available in 3 colors. It's on sale direct from Hartmann as well for $392. When it was first released around 4 years ago, it retailed for nearly $1,000.

Internal organization seems very minimal but as a seasoned traveler who uses packing cubes, I very much prefer that kind of setup.

Got it yesterday. Not sure if it any better than my 79.99 target luggage.

For less well know brand that use polycarbonate material then it is still better than brand name using ABS

I don't understand spending so much money on a single suitcase.
I have tried many brands in last 20 years, and learnt my lessons.
If you do extensive travels with your luggage (fully loaded), best not to buy costly luggage. Because it will break due to all the rough handling.
Also, multiple times my luggage has been forced open as the TSA lock didn't worked, destroying zippers of costly suitcases.
Till now my longest running suitcases are from Walmart (Jeep) and Amazon (Rockland), both brands sustained travel between USA and India and than domestic travel in India. They are scarred, but holding well till now. Also they are very cheap and light compared to sub-$100 Samsonite or American Tourister.
Same for handbags, the best performing one are the 15 and 20L pocketable backpacks from Edie Bauer (costed between $5 and $10 each). And they weigh less than 500 g each.

How are the pull handle and wheels? My wife returned a Costco set as "too many people had it" and got a well-reviewed Walmart set....and the pull up handle for the carry on has already broke! Can only have it in the most extended position, which is fine for me, but annoying that it's only been used twice and already is malfunctioning.

I think THAT is the really why some more expensive options is desired.....for the promise that when you need it to work, it'll work.

I'll bet the Target one does not have a "Leather Top Carry Handle".
