Enrollment limited. Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem. Only U.S.-issued American Express® Cards are eligible. Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Offer valid only for an eligible purchase made with your enrolled American Express Card using Apple Pay on your eligible mobile device by 7/22/2024. Offer valid at in-store and in-app merchant locations that accept the American Express® Card in the fifty United States, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands with point-of-sale terminals that process Apple Pay transactions. If you cannot use Apple Pay for the purchase for any reason, your purchase will not qualify for the offer. Eligible purchases do not include fees or interest charges, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments, or other cash equivalents. Valid only on purchases made in US Dollars. Offer is non-transferable. Limit of 1 statement credit per Card Member. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your purchase as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. Limit 1 enrolled Card per American Express Card online account. The enrolled Card account must be active, not past due, canceled, or have a returned payment outstanding to receive the statement credit. Any benefit earned from this offer is in addition to the rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) earned as part of your existing Card benefits, but your ability to earn spend-based rewards for the purchase will be based on the amount after any statement credit or other discount is applied. For example, is you use your Apple Pay to make three simple vending machine payments, you'll get $10 back from AMEX, if you have this offer available on your cards - I know, I know, YMMV.
But, if those are, say $1.50 charges at the vending machine, you will be making $5.50 on this deal. Not exactly a YOLO deal but certainly worth grabbing if you have it on any of your AMEX cards.
