If you don't have any of the stuff, then this is a pretty good collection for most basic home users. It's probably not great if you're a beginner mechanic As there's other things you would want, but if you just need to for stuff around the house yes

I already have a $99 hard case set 4-5 trays
When I work on my car outside I hate bring a tray of sockets outside
I figured be easier with a tool bag with all the sockets.
