The keyboard looks identical to a us one. Does anyone know the difference? Does anyone know if the warranty would be a pain here in the US?
They posted the wrong picture. I bought the previous one $1839 and returned. Too much hassle.
The keyboard has different layout. You can't even use the same keyboard cover.

Blah, thanks! Was thinking I'd send back the Adorama deal and get this for my kid, would be a beast. Oh well, she's still getting a really nice computer.
Would be ok if used primarily as a desktop machine with external monitor, keyboard and mouse/trackpad and occasional mobile use. But yeah, that keyboard would be a deal-breaker for me lol.
Bought it last time, great deal imo. You can replace the keyboard for roughly $100 if you choose to but I use it mostly attached to a dock so not a problem at all

I also got in on the last deal. This is a great laptop with the few caveats of the keyboard. I bought a $16 Macbook M1 keycap replacement set on Amazon and replaced about a dozen of the keys to as closely match the us keyboard as possible. There is the caveat:
1. The enter button on the keyboard for this set is smaller.
2. The left shift key is also shorter.
3. the tilde which is normally on the top row is allocated to the right of the left shift key if you use the us keyboard settings for on ths os. (this could probably be reprogrammed using 3rd party software)
The key cap replacement is pretty easy and there are youtube on how to do that. Just take your time.
I like this laptop but if you are considering this purchase - please consider my points above - as a developer - it's moderately annoying but fortunately I'm docked most of the time and can use my mechanical keyboard.
Says m2 in title, M1 in description, regular English keyboard on picture and French Canadian in description.. I'm gonna assume M1 French.. Though I'd like M2 English 😆

No way. They are take the clip off and replacing. Not the entire keyboard I guess. If they mean entire keyboard it's a $500 job any where!
Tim Apple blesses your wife and a kid is born.
I bought this also, but this time $50 more bc come with the keyboard cover, and I thinking to return bc the keyboard…
