This game is awesome. Can't believe it's ten years old.

Same thoughts! Didn't buy it on release, but hard to imagine 10 years has gone by.

Quote from joustonline :
Never heard of this game, but I probably would have bought it just to add to my collection of 450+ games on Steam but after Steam forced people to have windows 10 to be able to launch old games that previously didn't require win 10, I no longer buy Steam games. I just see what's on sale and then check GOG if I'm interested in buying the game, no DRM on games purchased there and no online connection needed to play them. I'm waiting for Terminator Resistance to go on sale at GOG, but I keep an eye out on slickdeals for Steam game sales because that's usually when GOG will have a similar sale.
Don't get caught in the trap of drm and other types of digital media that trick you into thinking you own what you paid for when they can just take it away whenever they want to. I stopped buying digital movies, Vudu, etc. when I ran into Vudu app no longer letting me play movies I had downloaded to an old Ipad that previously played fine. I pulled out the Ipad one day and found that Vudu was requiring an update to log in, and wouldn't allow the downloaded movies to be played without updating, but then said ipad was too old for the update.
We don't own what we buy from these digital media companies, choose wisely or get caught up in the Planned Obsolescence of this technology. It's better to convert your own movies into the format of the device you are gonna play it on rather to spend money on 1 movie that may require a newer device to play it on. Steam has become what it once was not, a risk to own game on that may in the future require you to purchase a new pc to play your old games, so I will not buy their games anymore, but I will still check out what they put on sale to see if its something I'm interested in from GOG.

You do know you can run linux right?
